Visa Information

Do you need a Visa?

In order to determine if you need a Visa to travel to Singapore, please visit the website of the Immigration and Checkpoint Authority of Singapore.

The Singapore Immigration Authority has different requirements based on whether your home country is considered a Level 1 or Level 2 country.

Level 2 countries include the following, but please check with your local Singapore Embassy for updated lists:

  • Afghanistan
  • Algeria
  • Bangladesh
  • Egypt
  • Iran
  • Iraq
  • Jordan
  • Kosovo
  • Lebanon
  • Libya
  • Mali
  • Morocco
  • Nigeria
  • Pakistan
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Somalia
  • Sudan
  • Syria
  • Tunisia
  • Yemen

All Visa applicants will be required to complete the V14A form which will collect all of your personal information needed to apply for a visa. However, certain Level 2 countries will also require the V39A Form which is a Letter of Introduction For Visa Application.

Note: There may be cases in which a V39A Form will be required for a non-Level 2 country as determined by the authorities. Please check with your local embassy.

Lions can apply for an e-Visa with MCI by following the steps below:

Step 1: Download the Visa Application Request Form.

Step 2: Complete the Visa Application Request Form and send the form and all required documents that are listed on the Visa Application Request Form to MCI at Each person, and/or family member, if applicable, must complete their own Visa Application Request Form.

Step 3: MCI will review the Visa Application Request Form and associated documentation. You will be notified by MCI if additional information is required.

Step 4: On your behalf, MCI will apply for the e-Visa through the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) online portal. Your credit card will be charged SGD$65.00. Cost is per person.
