Italian or English speakers welcome! Support doctors who bring smiles and ease anxiety for children undergoing rehabilitation therapy due to serious and potentially life-threatening medical conditions. Volunteers will rotate through various group activities with children and serve as assistants to physician clowns.

Food Distribution with Pane Quotidiano

Associazione Pane Quotidiano was established in 1898 to provide groceries free of charge to those in need with dignity and comfort. Join Leo and Lion friends in packing and distributing food for 3,000+ patrons who are served each day at the Daily Bread.  

  • Capacity: 20 people at each location (40 total)
  • Activity level: Light (standing, reaching, bagging of food)

Meal Service at Opera Cardinal Ferrari

Since 1921, the Opera Cardinal Ferrari has provided food, housing, and clothing assistance to Milan’s most fragile populations including the homeless, families in distress, and migrants. Lions and Leos will work in groups to serve a hearty tableside meal, sort clothing for distribution, and paint tables.

Rise Against Hunger

Malnutrition in all its forms directly affects one in three people worldwide. Join Lion and Leo friends to pack nutrient-rich, dehydrated meals that will primarily support school meal programs in developing countries.

Milan Park Clean-up:
Monte Stella

Help to beautify Milan by cleaning up a historic park that started as a mound of rubble from World War II and grew into a sprawling 350,000 square meter city park. Activities include brush and rubbish removal. This project aligns with Leo4Green events (born in MD108 Italy) which help to improve environmental awareness by promoting eco-friendly service activities.

  • Capacity: 50 people
  • Activity level: Moderate (walking and bending on hilly terrain, bagging of rubbish and brush)
  • Minimum age: 8

Milan Park Clean-up:
Porta Venezia Gardens

Experience the green side of Milan and help to beautify the city’s oldest public park. Activities include tree brush and rubbish removal. Volunteers will also refurbish park benches with a fresh coat of paint. This project aligns with Leo4Green events (born in MD108 Italy) which help to improve environmental awareness by promoting eco-friendly service activities.
